Saturday State Pennant Championships

Premiers of GBR Saturday Pennant, Highton, played in the State Championships at Moama and have come a creditable second in their section with 3 wins, 1 draw & 1 loss.

South Bendigo Bowls Club took top position with 4 wins and a draw – which was against our Highton side.  The winner of Section 1 met the winner of Section 2 in the Grand Final with Melbourne BC just getting over the line against South Bendigo BC by 2 shots.

We congratulate the Highton side who represented our region in a competitive and commendable manner.
